benefits of being a Signature member
Signature members are offered a Signature Gallery page on our website with a link to their own website.
Signature members are entitled to sign "ASMA" after their names on artworks and in publications.
Signature members are required to submit at least one work for jury consideration to each ASMA National Exhibition, which take place approximately every three years.
How to submit
During the submission window, there will be a button below that takes you to ShowSubmit.com.
Submit twelve works that best represent your current work.
Submit your images digitally, as jpegs. Images should be no more than 10 MB. We recommend uploading images that are approximately 5 x 7" at 300 dpi.
For sculptures, submit 2 views for each work.
You don’t need to label your images any particular way as that will be done when you upload them.
Fine art mediums accepted include oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, colored pencil, pen and ink, graphite, sculpture and scrimshaw. We do not accept photography, models, glass, fiber, digital art or other miscellaneous art categories.
The jurors are looking for a cohesive portfolio that best represents the artist's current work. A broad selection of themes and genres are accepted, including vessels, marine life, marshes, waterways, rivers, lakes, etc. Abstract works that evoke themes of water are accepted.
Submit biographical information.
Include publications, awards, gallery representation, and other art group affiliations.
