Non-Members Seeking Selection to Signature Member Status Artists who have not yet become members of ASMA are welcome to apply for Signature Member status as Non-Members, without first becoming a Regular Member. The opportunity to do so, however, occurs only once annually, in March-April, followed by review and evaluation of the artist’s digitally-submitted work by ASMA’s Fellows. In early May, each artist selected will be personally informed/congratulated by a member of the Fellows’ jurying team, with the complete list of those selected for Signature Member and Fellow published in the Summer issue of the quarterly ASMA News & Journal. Application/Submittal instructions for 2010 Artists who submit for Signature Membership status must be a Regular Member of the Society to be eligible. Artwork must be submitted via the the Juried Art Services (JAS) Web site. Visit www.juriedartservices.com, to review in advance the instructions and tutorial on “How to Use” the website for jury submittals. Then, between March 10 and April 3, go to the JAS website, select the button for submitting your work to ASMA (a minimum of 12 images), typing in your current biography where indicated. You are advised to choose images carefully: Judges are looking for consistent quality, not just one or two successful works. DEADLINE IS APRIL 3, 2010 for all submittals. To become a Regular Member Should you learn about requirements for becoming a Signature Members after the deadline, or decide not to apply for Signature Member Status, you have the opportunity of enjoying the benefits of ASMA at any time by becoming a Regular Member. To do so, select one of the two ways to “Join ASMA”. |
